My name is Rebecca Banham.

​

I've been a hairdresser for nearly 20 years, I started as an apprentice at a busy salon in my local town. ​I have a huge passion for hairdressing & love my job very much.

​

After the birth of my daughter Aisha in 2017 my maternity leave was coming to an end & my return to work was on the horizon. I struggled to reignite my enthusiasm & love for hairdressing. 

​

I found lack of sleep, looking after a baby on top of having to fill my empty hairdressing column a daunting task. To be completely honest, I nearly quit the hairdressing profession altogether.

​

I now specialise in advanced hairdressing including bespoke colouring techniques & hair extensions. My hairdressing is based on providing an excellent customer service & great results for my clients.

 

I have also been lucky enough to win several hairdressing awards. I have experience working in many different environments, including busy hair salons, mobile hairdressing & more recently from my home studio.

​

In 2021 I completed my level 3 in adult teaching (PTTLS). Which enables me to provide training to other hairstylists.

​

As 'the hair mechanic' I have designed a range workshops & accredited courses aimed at refreshing your hairdressing skills to repair & rebuild your confidence in hairdressing, whilst boosting your income.
